Neil has over 25 years of experience and is best known for his work as a fashion, beauty and portrait photographer based in London. His work has appeared in a diverse spread of magazines and publications from The Face to The Radio Times, taking in most of the women’s titles along the way including Cosmopolitan, Company, Options, New Woman and Good House Keeping. He has also shot for many of the men’s magazines such as FHM, GQ Active, and Men’s Health, other editorial clients have included You Magazine, The Mail on Saturday, The L.A. Times and The Sunday Times.
His portrait photography has seen him working with many interesting people from the worlds of cinema, TV, music and sport, including sessions with Hugh Grant, Liz Hurley, Vincent D’Orofino, David Duchovny, Chris Eubanks and Sadie Frost. Neil has exhibited in London and New York and his portrait of Hugh Grant featured in an exhibition at the National Portrait gallery.
He has successfully shot advertising campaigns and promotions for Coke Zero, Diet Coke, Reebok, Braun, Gossard, Nivea, Debenhams, L’Oreal, Nestle and M&S.
Having started out shooting Spandau Ballet in the early 1980's, his numerous commissions from record companies and the music press saw him work with most of the headline acts of the 80’s and 90’s. Such acts as Frankie Goes To Hollywood, INXS, Madness, Malcolm McLaren, Julien Lennon, Spice Girls, Destiny’s Child, TLC, Boyzone and Jon Bon Jovi
As a Director he has directed over 30 music videos, commercials (both under his name and as one half of Big Monday), several pilots for TV and a comedy series called “Les Lives” (a spin off from Vic Reeves Big Night Out) for the BBC. Directing artists such as Paul McCartney, Barry White, Feargal Sharkey, Take That, Roland Rivron, David Walliams, and Simon Pegg.
